an idea is born.

Our core team has strong experience in launching startups and delivering successful projects, with deep experience in technology, managing FX and risk and working in the community
Affy Bhatti is a Co-Founder and CEO of Bless Payments, leading our plans to scale and expand.
Having worked in consulting for over 20 years, Affy is proud of delivering the $20B demerger of Coles from Wesfarmers, the largest corporate transaction in Australia and leading the second-largest payroll remediation program in Australia, helping to pay back wages to thousands of underpaid workers. Affy is passionate about bringing positive change to Australian communities and is on the board of Salaam Foundation that educates, empowers and employs refugees and migrants. He lives in Perth with his two children and is a massive football fan, supporting Spurs and has been to the last three World Cups.
Mo Zaatar is a Co-Founder and CTO of Bless Payments and leads our drive to be an innovative fintech.
Mo has over 18 years of experience in the software industry, specializing in global banking solutions. He led Bankwest’s team to launch one of Australia’s first digital credit card instalment services and innovated with blockchain to create real-time NFTs for disaster relief. Outside of work, Mo is a dedicated husband and father of two daughters. He enjoys time with friends, gardening, and test-driving new cars.
Compliance Lead
John is an accomplished Financial Crime professional with over 15 years of experience across top Australian financial institutions. He built Afterpay’s entire AML operational capability from inception and has overseen 20,000+ high-risk customer reviews over his career.
FX Lead
Henry has over two decades of experience in treasury management. He has held key roles leading Commonwealth Bank’s Foreign Exchange, NAB’s Corporate and Institutional Markets - Foreign Exchange and was the Head of BNZ Markets, leading teams of financial risk specialists, delivering risk management services across interest rates, foreign exchange, and commodities.
