Affy meets Mo and
an idea is born.
Governance
Our Board of Directors have strong experience in governance, launching startups, dealing with complexity, with deep experience in technology, managing risk and working in the community.
Peter Khoury is our Board Chair and and has over 30 years of experience in financial services, governance, and scaling businesses across multiple jurisdictions. He was previously the Managing Partner at BDO South Australia.
Affy Bhatti is a Co-Founder and CEO of Bless Payments, leading our plans to scale and expand.
Having worked in consulting for over 20 years, Affy is proud of delivering the $20B demerger of Coles from Wesfarmers, the largest corporate transaction in Australia and leading the second-largest payroll remediation program in Australia, helping to pay back wages to thousands of underpaid workers. Affy is passionate about bringing positive change to Australian communities and is on the board of Salaam Foundation that educates, empowers and employs refugees and migrants. He lives in Perth with his two children and is a massive football fan, supporting Spurs and has been to the last three World Cups.
Mo Zaatar is a Co-Founder and CTO of Bless Payments and leads our drive to be an innovative fintech.
Mo has over 18 years of experience in the software industry, specializing in global banking solutions. He led Bankwest’s team to launch one of Australia’s first digital credit card instalment services and innovated with blockchain to create real-time NFTs for disaster relief. Outside of work, Mo is a dedicated husband and father of two daughters. He enjoys time with friends, gardening, and test-driving new cars.
Omair Chodhry is a Co-Founder and early investor in Bless Payments.
As a serial entrepreneur, Omair is the CEO of Xanadu Group, a collection of innovative organisations providing services that include disability and youth care, nationally accredited training, security and events and business process outsourcing, employing hundreds of people. One of Omair’s organisations was awarded Enterprise of the Year in the 28th Belmont & WA Small Business Awards in 2021. Omair also has a long history of volunteering in the Western Australian community, organising multicultural festivals attracting up to 15,000 attendees, featuring food, rides, games, art and performances highlighting the diversity in the region.

This Bless Payment app has been a game changer for me. I often have to send money overseas to Indonesia to my family. Previously I was using the Netbank app and I definitely was not getting a good deal, and it would take up to 5 days (or more) to go through. Now, it takes about half a minute (or less!). And the exchange rates are crazy good! This app has literally solved one of the biggest headaches for me, so I am very grateful that Bless Payments exist. I’ve had enough horrible experiences being ripped off by the big banks. So thanks to the app developers for making it such a simple experience. Just a quick note. Using the pay ID email took me a few times to get used to this method, but actually it is not hard at all! I highly recommend this app to everyone because it is reliable and fast! Love love love it.
